Manuel Valdebran, M.D. is originally from San Salvador, El Salvador. He received his medical degree from Universidad Evangelica de El Salvador. He completed a pre-residency internship in Pediatric Dermatology at Benjamin Bloom Children's Hospital in San Salvador. He then completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Hospital Padre Billini in Santo Domingo, followed by Dermatology Residency at Instituto Dermatologico "Dr. Huberto Bogaert Diaz" in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where he served as chief resident. He then completed a Visiting Fellowship in Dermatopathology at the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology in New York, followed by a visiting scholarship in Dermatopathology at the University of California San Francisco. This was followed by three years spent in assisting research studies at Beckman Laser Institute and the Department of Dermatology at the University of California Irvine in several areas such as non-invasive optical imaging, eosinophil biology, immunobulous diseases, dermatopathology, artificial intelligence, and solar ultraviolet exposure.
