Jennifer Hirchert has lived in the Charleston area since 2006, where she attended nursing school and worked as a labor and delivery nurse at MUSC. She received her masters degree in nurse-midwifery from East Carolina University in 2012 and spent the first decade of her midwifery career at Charleston Birth Place. She has now returned to MUSC, with a special interest in helping patients find the right contraception for them and providing affirming OB-GYN care for the LGBTQIA+ population.
