Shumyle Alam, MD

There is a reluctance to speak openly about children with bowel, bladder, or genital problems. Many families and children suffer in isolation without the knowledge that there are many patients and families like them around the country and the world. Dr. Shumyle Alam has a dedicated clinical interest in providing holistic care of children with complex urologic and pelvic problems in an accepting and multidisciplinary setting. In order to do this effectively, his team is comprised of a program manager, social worker, nutritionist. Dr. Alam and his team provide both medical and surgical management of the child with complex bladder, kidney, pelvic, and genital conditions.
