Kimberly Elaine McHugh, MD, MSCR
Dr. Kimberly McHugh is the medical director for outpatient services in pediatric cardiology. Her clinical interests include longitudinal care of infants, children, and young adults with congenital heart disease, education of adolescents and young adults to care for their congenital heart disease, and outpatient care for patients before and after heart surgery. Dr. McHugh's research has a focus in improving outcomes for single ventricle heart disease, examination of resource utilization in pediatric cardiology, and improving outcomes in longitudinal care of congenital heart disease. She is also an investigator with the Pediatric Heart Network and enrolls and follows patients in clinical trials.
