Kristoff Rewi Reid, MD
Dr. Kristoff Reid earned his bachelor of science degree from the United States Military Academy, West Point, and his medical doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. He spent five years in orthopaedic surgery residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and one year in orthopaedic trauma fellowship at Duke University Medical Center.Dr. Reid promotes advancement of his field through active membership in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, AOTrauma North America and the Piedmont Orthopedic Society. His research on fractures and nonunions has been published in scholarly journals and at orthopaedic conferences. Following his graduation from West Point, Dr. Reid served in the United States Army for five years, with service in Kosovo, the Sinai Peninsula, and Afghanistan. He currently serves as a surgeon in the U.S. Army Reserves, holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His reserve service includes deployments to Afghanistan and Syria as a member of a Forward Surgical Team.
