Dr. Krista Wagoner grew up in West Virginia and then attended High Point University in North Carolina, where she graduated summa cum laude while studying biology, mathematics, and chemistry. She graduated with honors and earned her M.D. from Marshall University School of Medicine, then completed her residency at MUSC, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Wagoner then joined the Department of ObGyn at MUSC where she demonstrates a commitment to evidence-based medicine. She is active in the training of both medical students and residents.
