Dr. Craig Bryant is an accomplished ABEM Board Certified Emergency Physician with extensive experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y., followed by an Emergency Medicine Residency at the same institution. Dr. Bryant furthered his education by earning a Master of Public Health with focus on Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the State University of New York College at Cortland.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bryant has held various roles in emergency medicine, demonstrating his expertise and dedication. Currently, he serves as an Emergency Physician at MUSC Health Lancaster. Additionally, he contributes his medical knowledge as a Telahealth Physician Consultant for General Medicine, providing telemedicine consultations. He also works as a Physician Consultant for MedCall Telemedicine Advisory Group, focusing on work-related injuries and illnesses.
Dr. Bryant's administrative contributions include serving as an Emergency Department Director and Assistant Director at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, where he oversaw operations and quality initiatives. He has also held positions such as EMS Director and Director of Emergency Department Quality.
He is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Bryant maintains active medical licenses in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and New York State. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Dr. Bryant's commitment to advancing emergency medicine is evident through his research and presentations, which have been showcased at national and regional conferences. His contributions include investigations into standing orders for chest and abdominal pain in the emergency department and research on potassium levels in hemodialysis patients.
