Stephen Martin Mullaney, NP

Stephen Mullaney is a family nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience. He has been a practicing NP for over 12 years. Mr. Mullaney received his BSN from Loyola University in Chicago and, after a 10-year career as a bedside critical care nurse, he received his MSN from Rush University Medical Center.

Mr. Mullaney, a native South Carolinian, moved back home in 2013 whereby he started at MUSC Health Primary Care on Laurel Street. The primary focus of his practice is caring for and working with the underserved population of Columbia. He specializes in chronic disease management and works diligently to provide the best possible care for his patients.

Mr. Mullaney also has a strong focus in preventive care. He is contracted with The Best Chance Network, which allows him to provide gynecological and mammography screenings at no cost to the patient. Stephen is the recipient of the MacNeal Health Foundation Scholarship and the Linda R Clemmings Award for nursing excellence in the community.
