Leslie Jarrott Moore, MD

A native of Florence, South Carolina, Dr. Moore earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Clemson University before attending the Medical University of South Carolina School of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree, he completed his General Surgery training at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Moore then pursued subspecialty training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

After practicing colon and rectal surgery in Baltimore, Dr. Moore returned to South Carolina in 2010. He has a broad interest in colon and rectal surgery, with a particular focus on minimally invasive surgical techniques for treating colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and both benign and malignant anorectal disorders.

Outside of work, Dr. Moore enjoys spending time with his family and has personal interests in music and running with friends at unconventional hours.
