Michael William Kalsman, MD

Dr. Kalsman was born and raised in Southern Arizona. He trained at the University of Arizona with graduate degrees in pharmacy and medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Utah in 1998. After finishing a fellowship in rural medicine, he has spent most of his career practicing and teaching family medicine in rural Western New York. He has earned awards at the state level for his care of underserved populations. His practice has truly been a picture of family medicine by providing services from advanced maternity care to home visits. He has held faculty positions with both the University of Utah and the University of Buffalo. He is fellowship trained and board certified in integrative medicine, which focuses on combining evidence based natural healing methods with contemporary medicine. He completed medical acupuncture training through Harvard in 2017. Dr Kalsman's focus is on the healing relationship he develops with patients. His interests include integrative family medicine, preventive medicine, and medical acupuncture.
