He then completed his medical education at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. Dr. Hassid traveled to Washington University in St. Louis for residency training in anesthesiology, and followed up with a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at St. Louis Children's Hospital. Since 2009 he has been a faculty member at MUSC in the division of pediatric anesthesia.
