Komal Eubanks, DNP, FNP-C
Komal Eubanks, DNP, FNP-C, is a seasoned Nurse Practitioner. Currently serving at the Department of Neurological Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina, she collaborates with Dr. Benjamin Strickland who specializes in skull base and cerebrovascular and neurosurgery.
Prior to joining MUSC, Komal was a Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Neurological Surgery at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where she honed her skills in addressing various brain and spine neurosurgical conditions. Before becoming a NP, she excelled in critical care nursing, notably in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Atrium Health in Charlotte, earning accolades, e.g. Daisy Award, for her contributions.
With a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from East Carolina University and a history of high academic achievement, including a 4.0 GPA, Komal embodies a commitment to excellence. Her dedication extends beyond clinical practice; she served as a Lead Graduate Research Assistant at ECU, fostering research and mentoring junior research assistants.
