He specializes in preventive care and the treatment of both acute and chronic illnesses. Dr. Burk performs annual physicals, wellness visits, sports physicals, acute care visits, chronic care management and minor in-office procedures. ,Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Dr. Burk completed his medical degree right here in Charleston at the Medical University of South Carolina. He continued his education by completing the Trident/MUSC Family Medicine residency program, with a special interest in Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine. Today, he lives in West Ashley where he enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors as much as weather permits.Dr. Burk is accepting new patients!
