Dr. William Burk is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine. He has been called to care for the families of our community and strives to provide individualized, compassionate care for each of his patients. Dr. Burk is accepting new patients in West Ashley at the new Epic Center Primary Care practice in the Citadel Mall.Dr. Burk enjoys forming long lasting relationships with his patients and cares for people of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. He specializes in preventive care and the treatment of both acute and chronic illnesses. Dr. Burk performs annual physicals, wellness visits, sports physicals, acute care visits, chronic care management and minor in-office procedures. ,Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Dr. Burk completed his medical degree right here in Charleston at the Medical University of South Carolina. He continued his education by completing the Trident/MUSC Family Medicine residency program, with a special interest in Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine.
