I-Hweii Amy Chen, MD, PhD
I-Hweii Amy Chen, M.D. Ph.D. is an associate professor. She serves as the director of the neuromuscular division, director of the MDA/ALS clinic, and co-director of the clinical neurophysiology fellowship program. She earned her medical and doctoral degrees from Columbia University. She completed residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and then completed neuromuscular and clinical neurophysiology fellowships at Columbia University. Her clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, myopathy, myasthenia gravis, and neuropathy. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine.
