Danielle Cassels, AuD, MA

Danielle M. Cassels, AuD, CCC-A is a clinical audiologist within the Department of Otolaryngology at MUSC. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and minor in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University before completing her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed her clinical externship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Eye and Ear Institute and then joined their staff prior to working at MUSC. Her clinical interests and areas of expertise include the diagnosis and management of hearing loss, adult hearing aids and osseointegrated implantable devices, vestibular diagnostics, and tinnitus management. She also serves as a preceptor for audiology students and participates in departmental vestibular and hearing science research projects. Dr. Cassels is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), American Balance Society (ABS), and Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA).
