Dr. Nagpal received his Medical Degree from New York Medical College in 2008 and subsequently completed his Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency at the Baylor College of Medicine/U.T. Health Houston PM&R Alliance Program. He then completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine at U.T. Health San Antonio. He is the Division Chief of PM&R at the Medical University of South Carolina and a Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics & Physical Medicine. He has a Master of Science degree in Physiology and Biophysics, a master's degree in Education in Healthcare Curriculum and Instruction, as well as an MBA. Prior to joining the faculty at MUSC, Dr. Nagpal served as the Division Chief of Pain Medicine at U.T. Health San Antonio for many years. He is actively involved in clinical research. He has been offering clinical care for patients with chronic pain since 2013, and his primary clinical focus is currently musculoskeletal pain. However, he evaluates and treats patients with all types of pain complaints.
